This assessment contains eighteen questions about you and your organization's desired future purposes, current practices, and current personal approach toward work.
Your Team or Unit. While taking this section of the assessment think about the team (or organizational unit) that you lead or belong to right now.
Directions. The six questions below ask about how you define success for your team in the future. What results or outcomes does your team need to achieve in the future to help the company realize its strategy? Under each question, rank the four statements (recognizing they are all important) according to the order of importance necessary for your unit to succeed in the future. That is, which statement is most like your team's needed future outcomes? Assign 1, 2, 3, or 4 to the statements A, B, C, and D depending on which one will have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th priority for your team in the future. Assign 1 if the statement is most like your team's needed future and 4 if the statement is least like your team's needed future. We have you rank the options because leadership is about making difficult decisions.
Remember that for each of the six questions, statements A, B, C, and D must be assigned a 1, 2, 3 or 4. No statement may be assigned the same number as another statement (forced rank).
